Ms. Toni joined MDE School in 2025 and brings a strong background in psychology and special education to her work with students. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her professional experience includes working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and a student analyst, and she is currently pursuing her Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Ms. Toni’s passion for special education began during her undergraduate studies while working as a behavioral therapist in an ABA clinic. “That experience allowed me to apply what I was learning in real time and showed me how impactful evidence-based strategies can be for students with special needs. As I continued my career in mental health and advanced my education, my goal became clear: to support students academically, behaviorally, and emotionally throughout their school day,” she shared.
In the classroom, Ms. Toni is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where students feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow throughout their educational journey.
Outside of school, Ms. Toni enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing with a good book—her favorite way to unwind.
