Ms Jojo

Ms. JoJo joined the teaching staff at MDE School in the fall of 2024. Before working at MDE School, she was a preschool teacher at several schools in other states. Ms. JoJo holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Behavior and Physical Wellness, along with an associate’s degree in Psychology.

Ms. JoJo has known since she was a young child that she wanted to work with children. She discovered her love of working with neurodiverse children several years ago. “I always enjoyed being a teacher and helping to shape minds, but the first time I worked with a neurodiverse student, a passion was ignited in me that I couldn’t ignore. My whole perspective on life, as well as my career path, changed. Teaching neurodiverse children is what I am meant to be doing,” she said.

She aims for her students to have fun, learn, and make a mark on the world with whatever they choose to do. “Every child brought into this world is a precious gift that deserves to be nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential. I will do everything in my power to make sure all of my students have a chance to succeed in their own way,” she said.

In her free time, Ms. JoJo enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and traveling. She also treasures time with her fiancé and their two children. She hopes to take her family to Jamaica someday soon to experience the culture and visit family.
