Preschool Program for Neurodiverse Children Aged 2 - 5

The first five years of a child’s life are a time of incredible growth, shaping their future more rapidly than at any other stage. That’s why choosing the right preschool matters.

At MDE Preschool, we provide a warm, play-based learning environment designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop essential skills for lifelong success.

Rooted in Georgia Early Learning Development Standards (GELDS), our program nurtures a love for learning in our students.

Therapy Available On-Site

MDE Preschool is proud to share the campus with the Greater Atlanta Speech and Language Clinic, where your child can receive speech, occupational, physical, and feeding therapies during the school day. *

It is often beneficial for students to receive therapy on-site in a familar environmentto assist with attention, focus, sensory regulation/stimulation, and goal continuity. All therapists and teachers employ a team approach to addressing each student’s needs.

* Payment of these services is in addition to school tuition and may be covered by your insurance or Medicaid.

Admissions Process

  1. Initial Phone Interview – A preliminary phone interview will be conducted to determine if MDE is a suitable fit for your child.
  2. Parent Tour – Following the phone interview, parents will have the opportunity to tour the school and meet with Executive Director Mindy Elkan.

  3. Student Meeting & Assessment – If the family wishes to proceed after the tour, the prospective student will meet with the Executive Director for an observation to determine class placement.

  4. Enrollment & Deposit – Upon mutual agreement on the next steps, enrollment paperwork will be completed. To secure a spot for the upcoming school year, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward tuition.

GaSSO’s objective is to provide the State of Georgia taxpayer’s and accredited private schools with a simple, easy way to contribute and process funding to their preferred educational institutions.
