March 2026 Gala

Join Us for MDE School’s 1920s Speakeasy Gala on March 14, 2026

Each March, MDE School hosts a special in-person event to raise essential funds that support our students and programs. Join us for an evening that is sure to be the bees knees, and includes live music by Jules and the Gents, an open bar, dinner buffet and silent auction.

Day of Giving Annual Fund Campaign

The easiest and most impactful way to support MDE School is to contribute to the Annual Fund. MDE School’s Day of Giving Annual Fund campaign is the most critical fundraiser of the school year. From our classrooms, enrichment activities, and life skills training, we could not provide the excellent special education program we do without our generous annual fund donors. Kroger Community Rewards

The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact, and charitable giving at the national and local levels. 

Kroger does this through the Kroger Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your card to MDE School of East Cobb, you will need to swipe your shopper’s card or enter your phone number when checking out for MDE School to receive the donation from Kroger. Birthday Fundraisers

If you would like to request donations be made to MDE School instead of gifts for your birthday or another special occasion, we’ve got you covered. MDE School can create a custom donation page for you that processes online donations. Please email beth.mooney@mdeschool.org to request your personalized donation page.

In-Kind Donations

MDE School welcomes your donation of goods and services. We always seek donations to our benefit silent auctions like vacation getaways, sporting event tickets, restaurant gift certificates, and merchandise. Additionally, we need computers, i-Pads, and supplies for our classrooms, playground, and enrichment programs. For a complete list of our current needs, Please email beth.mooney@mdeschool.org

Securities

Gifts of appreciated securities enable donors to avoid capital-gains taxes while making a tax-deductible gift to MDE School. To make a gift of appreciated securities, please email beth.mooney@mdeschool.org for more information.

Gasso

GA House Bill 1133 allows you to redirect a portion of your state income taxes to the private school of your choice and receive a 100% dollar-for-dollar credit when you file your taxes. Individuals, couples, S corporations, and C corporations can participate in this program. You have to pay your Georgia taxes no matter what. Why not direct the taxes you or your company pays to the MDE School Scholarship Fund so we can give tuition assistance to economically disadvantaged families?
