We are so thankful for the generous support we receive from MDE School families, grandparents, board members, and friends. Your support in our mission helps to keep MDE School financially solid and thriving during the school year.
There are several ways to support the incredible work MDE School is doing with special needs students, from donating to our Annual Fund to shopping at stores that contribute back to our school.
Please explore the support options below and know that your generous giving enables us to maximize our academic programs and enhance enrichment opportunities for our students.
MDE School is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501©3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
MDE School retains full discretion over allocating and utilizing all donations to best support our organizational goals.

The easiest and most impactful way to support MDE School is to contribute to the Annual Fund. MDE School’s Day of Giving Annual Fund campaign is the most critical fundraiser of the school year. From our classrooms, enrichment activities, and life skills training, we could not provide the excellent special education program we do without our generous annual fund donors. The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact, and charitable giving at the national and local levels.
Kroger does this through the Kroger Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your card to MDE School of East Cobb, you will need to swipe your shopper’s card or enter your phone number when checking out for MDE School to receive the donation from Kroger. If you would like to request donations be made to MDE School instead of gifts for your birthday or another special occasion, we’ve got you covered. MDE School welcomes your donation of goods and services. We always seek donations to our benefit silent auctions like vacation getaways, sporting event tickets, restaurant gift certificates, and merchandise. Donations to the Student Scholarship Fund will allow MDE School to make our tuition more affordable to economically disadvantaged families by providing them with tuition assistance.
GA House Bill 1133 allows you to redirect a portion of your state income taxes to the private school of your choice and receive a 100% dollar-for-dollar credit when you file your taxes. Individuals, couples, S corporations, and C corporations can participate in this program. You have to pay your Georgia taxes no matter what. Why not direct the taxes you or your company pays to the MDE School Scholarship Fund so we can give tuition assistance to economically disadvantaged families?

Any business or individual who donates $5,000 to MDE School in the current fiscal year will be recognized as a Diamond Donor on signage in the school lobby as well as in the annual yearbook.
