Ms. Jenna joined the MDE School teaching staff in 2024 and currently serves as a Reading Specialist. Prior to joining MDE, she taught Georgia Pre-K and worked at Wellstar Pediatric Cardiology. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Special Education (K–12), which she expects to complete in December 2026 along with her Georgia teaching certification.
Ms. Jenna was drawn to the field of special education through her personal experience as the parent of two children on the autism spectrum. “Raising my children has given me a deep understanding of the unique strengths, challenges, and perspectives that children with special needs bring to the world. Through my experiences, I’ve developed a strong sense of patience, empathy, and advocacy. This naturally led me to work with other children who need the same level of support and understanding.”
She strives to create a supportive and structured environment where each student feels safe, valued, and capable of success. “My goal is to meet every child where they are, academically, socially, and emotionally, and help them make meaningful progress at their own pace.”
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Family highlights include trips to Disney and Universal, and she also enjoys shopping.
