Ted Kallgren retired from Accelerate360 in April 2023, where he served as the company’s EVP of Finance / CFO from 2008 to 2023. Ted was responsible for the financial strategy and day-to-day financial, treasury, and accounting operations. Ted managed a staff of 125+ finance employees (in the US and Canada) in a highly transaction-intensive accounting environment (tracking shipments and returns of more than One Billion copies per annum of individual magazines and books). He was a key advisor on the sale of the business from the original owner (The Jim Pattison Group) to the new owner (Chatham Asset Management) in December 2018.
Ted began his career at Ernst & Young, LLC, where he obtained his CPA certification. His career includes other Chief Financial Officer roles, most notably his 11 years of experience with Pameco Corporation, which culminated in a successful $50M initial public offering on the NYSE to fund its acquisition program. Ted graduated with a BA in Accounting from Alma College in 1984 and completed Duke University's (Fuqua) Executive Management Program in 1997.
Ted and his wife, Gina, grew up together in Michigan and made their home in Georgia (in 1991), where they have raised their three adult children: Tyler, Bradley, and Allya.
Ted enjoys traveling, tennis, golf, and adventures with his family in his retirement.
