Ms. Michelle joined the MDE School teaching staff in 2018. Before that, she worked as an inclusion teacher in the Dekalb County School System for sixteen years, where she was selected as the Teacher of the Year for the 2011/2012 school year. Ms. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
“Over my teaching career, I’ve always enjoyed helping students with disabilities reach their goals. I believe that all students can achieve their goals in a loving and nurturing setting,” she said.
Ms. Michelle enjoys watching movies, walking in the park, and traveling, in her free time.
