Ms. Taylor joined the MDE School teaching staff in 2022. Before that, she worked as a Pre-K inclusion teacher in Atlanta Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in biology and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education.
Ms. Taylor is a champion for special needs children. “I am passionate about watching all children grow, especially children with many obstacles to overcome. I believe that all children can learn the same skills in the right environment. Every child should be given a chance to succeed and a teacher that will fight for them,” she said.
She outlined her goals for her students. Ms. Taylor commented, “I hope my students gain the skills they need to help them be successful in school and life. In addition, I want to instill a love of learning and education while providing a calm and nurturing classroom environment.”
Ms. Taylor loves to do puzzles or chill on the couch with a good Netflix series or a book.
