Ms. Terrika joined the teaching team at MDE School in 2025. She holds a Paraprofessional Certification and worked as a special education paraprofessional for the Douglas County school system.
She was drawn to working with neurodiverse children because she has a child with special needs. “As a mother of a special needs child, I discovered my passion for supporting children with unique abilities. Guiding my own son through challenges has inspired me to help other families by providing the same care, understanding, and dedication I want for my own child,” she said.
In her free time, she enjoys writing, creating art, making music, engaging in sound therapy, and practicing meditation.
