Ms. Chantá joined the teaching staff at MDE School in 2025. Before working at MDE School, she taught special education in the Cobb and Paulding school districts for over a decade. In addition, she has experience as a lead preschool teacher, ABA therapist, and behavioral technician. These experiences have equipped her with a well-rounded approach to education rooted in empathy, structure, and creativity.
“I am committed to creating an environment where students and staff feel seen, supported, and inspired. I believe that learning should be both fun and fulfilling for students. One of my favorite quotes is, ‘Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists they become the best they can be,’ from Rita Pierson,” she said.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places.
