Ms. Michelle joined the MDE School teaching staff in 2022. Prior to teaching a MDE School she worked as an RBT providing ABA therapy at a center for children with autism. Ms. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in early childhood education.
“I have always had a passion for working with children with special needs which is why I chose this field. I absolutely love the feeling of satisfaction, knowing that I am making a difference in someone’s life. Working with special needs children is close to my heart because one of my sons has autism,” she said.
Ms. Michelle hopes to make a positive difference in her student’s lives by making sure they each reach their highest academic potential by mastering the goals we set for them and achieving new ones.
In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with her three teenaged boys.
