
Luke Mashburn is an experienced sport management professional and academic leader. He has worked with four NCAA Division I programs, Atlanta United FC, Major League Baseball, and other professional leagues. Luke has opened three sports facilities, managed over 25 venues, and managed or worked with hundreds of events, including the World Series and Concacaf Gold Cup. He currently serves as Chair of Kinesiology and Wellness at Georgia Highlands College, where he teaches in the sport management program and contributes scholarly work to the field.
He holds a PhD from Troy University and is a proud supporter of his undergraduate alma mater, the University of South Carolina. Deeply involved in the community, he has served on the boards of directors of several organizations and is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Cobb. Luke lives in East Cobb with his daughters Dillan and Ronny.
